Example of the PE file correction

Here you will find an information on how to use PE Corrector to correct PE files.

Step 1. Launch PE Corrector
Launch PE Corrector (from the directory where the program was installed to or from Windows main menu).

Step 2. File selection
Select file to correct in the appeared window.

Step 3. Setup
Please select necessary items on the Options page. For example: Insert Text and Clear Exports.

If you want to insert your string into PE header, you may specify this string on the Text page.

Now click on the Exports tab. If you want to cut some function names from export section of PE file, you should move them to the right list.

Step 4. Processing.
Click on the Apply button.

Step 5. Comparing.
And now you can compare two PE files: before and after processing.
